Former Pakistan captain Babar Azam has once again etched his name in cricket history, surpassing Virat Kohli’s record for the most fifty-plus scores in T20 internationals (T20Is).
Babar’s match-winning 68 off 47 balls, featuring nine fours, in the third and final T20I against South Africa at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, lifted him to 40 fifty-plus scores in T20Is — one ahead of Kohli’s 39.
India’s Rohit Sharma ranks third with 37, while Mohammad Rizwan follows with 31, and David Warner and Jos Buttler share fifth with 29 each.

🏆 Babar’s Match-Winning Knock
Chasing a target of 140 runs, Pakistan secured a six-wicket victory with six balls to spare, thanks to Babar’s steady innings.
After losing Saim Ayub early for a duck, Babar anchored the chase with Sahibzada Farhan (19 off 18) and later added a crucial 76-run partnership with captain Salman Ali Agha (33 off 26).
Despite a brief late collapse, Faheem Ashraf and Usman Khan held their nerve to guide Pakistan home.
