🎓 Degree Verification from HEC Pakistan (Step-by-Step Guide 2025)

The Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan is the official body responsible for verifying educational degrees issued by recognized universities across the country. The verification process can be completed online through the HEC e-Services Portal.

🔹 Step 1: Create an Account on HEC e-Services

1. Go to https://eservices.hec.gov.pk
2. Click Register and create an account using your CNIC (for Pakistanis) or Passport number (for foreign nationals).
3. Verify your email to activate your account.

🔹 Step 2: Complete Your Profile

After logging in:

• Fill in your personal details, contact information, and academic record.
• Upload clear scanned copies of your degrees, transcripts, and CNIC.

💡 Tip: Use PDF format, with each file under 500 KB in size.

🔹 Step 3: Apply for “Degree Attestation”

1. In the dashboard, click on “Apply for Degree Attestation”.
2. Select your university and degree type (e.g., Bachelor’s, Master’s, MPhil, PhD).
3. Choose whether you want online verification or walk-in attestation.

🔹 Step 4: Upload Required Documents

Attach:

• Degree(s) and transcript(s)
• CNIC (front and back)
• University enrollment or completion letter (if required)
• Authorization letter (if someone else is submitting on your behalf)

🔹 Step 5: Submit and Pay the Fee

• After review, you’ll get a payment challan through the portal.
• Pay the fee via 1Link, ATM, or online banking (using HBL, UBL, or MCB).
• Fees:
  • Rs. 800 per degree (attestation)
  • Rs. 500 per transcript (attestation)

🔹 Step 6: Attestation and Delivery

• Once approved, HEC will digitally verify your degree.
• For physical copies, you can:
  • Collect from the nearest HEC regional center, or
  • Choose courier delivery (TCS / Pakistan Post).
